Consumerism has become our air, necessary for life. The influence of the unconscious desire to consume, the endless flow of material and informational products, social networks, television, and computer games on the human psyche is immense. The oversaturation of human existence with consumer goods and experiences leads to internal chaos. Personality is increasingly defined by the products it consumes. We are dependent on new experiences. We need better and more. We quickly lose interest. In the pursuit of new experiences, true value is lost.
